Patients must be uninsured or underinsured and have incomes at or below 300% of the federal poverty line to qualify. The pharmacy’s aim extends beyond medication provision, focusing on empowering individuals towards self-sufficiency through education and lifestyle goal setting. Similar charitable pharmacies exist across Ohio, such as the Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio in Columbus and Beacon Charitable Pharmacy in Canton, all dedicated to serving their communities’ healthcare needs.
