NEW Museum & Visitor Center Opens Friday at the Seton Shrine
Introducing Mother Seton to a New Generation of Pilgrims

Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton was a woman of her time; her story is for our time. Now you can immerse yourself in that inspiring story of one of America’s saints at the new Seton Shrine Museum and Visitor Center.
Our state-of-the-art exhibits feature artifacts, personal writings, digital interactive exhibits and hands-on activities for all ages that capture the spirit of Mother Seton’s extraordinary life and enduring legacy, as she traversed the path from a seeker to servant to saint.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton will hold its Blessing & Dedication on the new $4 million museum on Friday, September 22nd, 2023, and the event is open to the public. Doors open to the public at 10am. The Blessing & Dedication Ceremony will take place immediately following Mass, at 3pm. Refreshments to follow. There will be FREE tours all weekend.
If you can’t visit, you can be with us in spirit! Mass will be celebrated at the Shrine Basilica at 1:30 pm with Archbishop William E. Lori. You can watch from home by clicking here to our livestream page at setonshrine.org/live).
