Vincentian Popular Mission in Quezon, Bukidnon, Philippines
The recently concluded Vincentian Popular Mission 2023 was beautifully realized at the San Vicente Ferrer Mission Station, Lumintao, Quezon, Bukidnon.
From June 22 to July 16, we witnessed a remarkable journey of faith, orchestrated under the dynamic leadership of Mission Director, Fr. Edilberto Baculi, CM. His relentless dedication formed the heartbeat of this extraordinary mission.
A special mention goes out to the unwavering Fr. Thurs Gonesto, CM, the mission station priest, and the committed Parish Pastoral & Finance Committee. Their combined efforts were instrumental in making this mission a resounding success.
The Vincentian family was represented by the enthusiastic students of the St. Vincent School of Theology, local missionaries from the area, and the esteemed Vincentian priests; Fr. Kit Torayno, CM, Fr. Ariel Rotoni, CM, and Fr. Vincent Rabije, CM. Their participation provided an added depth and richness to the mission’s objectives.
In the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul, we can all appreciate the impact of this mission and the legacy that it continues to perpetuate, witnessing the vibrancy of St. Vincent’s vision in today’s world.
