Metro St. Louis, Missouri Regional Area: St. Vincent de Paul Gatherings

We celebrated this year’s Feast by rekindling our common heritage as a Vincentian Family (VF)! The Ladies of Charity, Congregation of the Mission, Daughters of Charity, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Vincentian Marian Youth and Vincentian Mission Corps met for the past three months to plan for service and prayer (Spanish and English) on September 24th. Over 30 VF volunteers prayed, cleaned, sorted, mopped, grilled, organized, weeded, made sandwiches, babysat etc. among the four service sites on both sides of the Mississippi River. Afterwards we gathered for shared prayer and thanksgiving prior to celebrating the Vigil of the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Vincent’s Parish. We left this day with promises to gather in the spring again as Family, Vincentian Family!
