Sisters and senior leaders from Vincentian joined together Thursday, March 17, for a fellowship luncheon at St. Louise Convent in Pittsburgh. Women religious from the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Sisters of the Holy Spirit, Sisters of Divine Providence, and Benedictine Sisters all attended.

After an update on the state of the Vincentian ministries from President and Chief Executive Officer Dean Owrey, and an introduction of conversation with Vincentian campus leadership, the Sisters took a tour of the new Vincentian Learning and Engagement Institute, located in the auditorium area of the convent.

The Sisters are incredible servant leaders. We share an essential purpose and honor their legacy. Caring for others with dignity and compassion must never go out of style, no matter how difficult the circumstances are,” Owrey said.

A ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Vincentian is a Catholic not-for-profit health care and human services organization that offers a continuum of care for more than 2,000 seniors per year, including independent living, personal care, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, and skilled nursing.

Incredible assembly of exemplary role models – people caring for people. The Sisters’ pride in enduring and selfless service to others is a source of energy and clarity of our purpose as we carry on their tradition of care amid contemporary challenges. We will endure.
