It is very heartwarming to read the this latest edition of the newsletter from the Daughters of Charity in the Province of Rosalie Rendu. As I read the news from Hutt Street Centre’s Christmas celebration I was reminded of my stay in Adelaide for four years and the Christmas Days I spent at the Centre. Those were really very exiting and joy filled events being with the homeless people and seeing them happy with what the staff and the sisters prepared for them. Likewise, the news from St. Mary’s House of Welcome which I visited for a couple of times makes me connect with the people they serve. I am now back in my home country, the Philippines, but I still call Australia, my second home. Thanks to the sisters of the Australian mission for their love and support during my stay in the former Australian Province. Thank you very much for publishing this newsletter.
