Introducing ‘Seton & Culture’ – A New Essay Series
Dear Friend of the Seton Shrine,
I’m very pleased to introduce to you a bi-weekly series of spiritual essays from the Seton Shrine. These essays by leading writers will profile great Catholic artists, writers, mystics, thinkers and visionaries, through the lens of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s life and legacy.
The series is edited by the award-winning novelist and spiritual writer, Suzanne M. Wolfe. The first two essays in the series are by Paul Mariani on the Trappist monk, writer, and social activist Thomas Merton, and Peggy Rosenthal on the poet and Catholic convert Denise Levertov.

You can sign up to receive notifications of new essays, published every other Friday on our website, by clicking here, or the buttons at the top and bottom of this email. Sign-up links will also be included in our Seton Reflections emails.
Throughout her life, Mother Seton was devoted to the good, the true and the beautiful, especially as expressed through culture and art. This series will explore that side of Elizabeth Seton, through distinguished writers who are using their gifts to turn our attention to the higher things.
Thank you for your support and prayers for our mission!
