St. Louise de Marillac and the Heart of Jesus
Interestingly, St. Louise de Marillac was a painter who produced representations of Jesus the Good Shepherd and the Holy Family, among other subjects (more at vincentians.com).
Louise made many references to the heart of Jesus. Not only do we read of it in her writings, we see it in the paintings, which, she told the Sisters, were her devotion and amusement.
– Fr. Robert P. Maloney, C.M. (2014) “The Heart of Jesus in the Spirituality of Vincent de Paul and Louise de Marillac,” Vincentian Heritage Journal: Vol. 32 : Iss. 1 , Article 8.

Painting by St. Louise, “Lord of Charity”. Original in the Mother House of the Daughters of Charity, Paris.
