September 27: Share the Journey
Pope Francis is being joined by bishops around the world in launching a global campaign to support our brothers and sisters who have fled their homes seeking a decent and safe life for their families. This historic campaign, “Share the Journey” will respond to some of the most desperate of God’s children and your participation and inspiration is needed. The event coincides with both our principal feast day and the 400th Anniversary symposium.
In the USA, you can help your family, friends and neighbors participate in the “Share the Journey” campaign along with Pope Francis, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Catholic Charities USA, and the Church’s global charitable network, Caritas Internationalis. Look for this event in your country, too.
Through prayers and acts of compassion and support, you can help shape conversations and actions to answer the Gospel call to love our neighbors.
