New Executive Director for the Sisters of Charity Federation
The Sisters of Charity Federation is pleased to announce that Sister Grace Hartzog, a Sister of Charity of Seton Hill, has accepted the position of Executive Director of the Federation, effective September 5, 2017.
In this capacity she will represent the two provinces of the Daughters of Charity and eleven congregations of Sisters of Charity in the United States and Canada that trace their origins to and/or derive their spirit from Saints Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, and Elizabeth Ann Seton. She will oversee the Federation office administration and assist the Board in carrying forward its mission.
Grace brings a wealth of experience to the position, having served as an Associate Director of LCWR since 2012. Prior to that, she served for 10Â years on the US Provincial Leadership Council of the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill.
Grace succeeds Sister Julie Cutter, DC, who has served as Executive Director since October 2011. Prior to her, Sister Mary Ann Daly, SCNY served for five years. They have assisted us in deepening our relationships, communications, and collaborations as a Federation and with the Vincentian Family.
We are delighted to welcome Grace, and we pray that this ministry will be a blessing for her and for all of us in the Sisters of Charity Federation.
Joan Cook, SC-Cincinnati, President of the Sisters of Charity Federation Board of Directors
