Why We Serve: giving testimony is part of saying #IamVincent. Thanks to Sister Pat Evanick, D.C., for bring this to our attention. Click on the name of each student to read their testimony.

This past year, St. John’s students dedicated nearly 100,000 hours to service. Helping those in need is central to the University’s mission. Through departments such as Campus Ministry, Student Affairs, and the Vincentian Institute for Social Action (VISA), students gain real-world experience while making a positive difference through Academic Service-Learning, the Midnight Run program, mentoring children, volunteering at shelters, service “plunges” around the world, and other volunteer activities.

The following students share the impact their service has had on their lives and education.
