23 Junior Ladies of Charity from St. John’s Prep in Queens, along with St. John’s Prep students, joined the Sunday Community Team at St. Joachim and Anne Nursing Home in Coney Island on Saturday, September 26. Moderator Kitty Prager accompanied them and reported that they were a big help for morning visiting with the residents
The Junior Ladies of Charity of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in the Diocese of Buffalo spent two beautiful autumn days, Sept. 26 & 27, in the church parking lot accepting donations of household goods for the Ladies of Charity Fresh Start Program. By Sunday afternoon the truck was full .
