September in the Vincentian Family

- 11 – Founding of St. Elizabeth College, [Convent Station] NJ – 1899
- 14 – Elizabeth Ann Seton, first native-born saint of the United States, is canonized by Pope Paul VI. – 1975
- 23 – Vincent de Paul Ordained a priest – 1600
- 27 – Feast of St. Vincent de Paul who died on this date – +1660
This is a wonderful time for us to reflect on the growing spirit of collaboration among the many branches of the Vincentian Family.

The Sisters of Charity of New York welcome all to celebrate the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul at Mount Saint Vincent, 6301 Riverdale Ave., Bronx, NY 10471. A walking tour of the campus will begin at 1:00 pm at Lourdes Grotto and will continue on to the Sisters of Charity Archives then Sisters’ Cemetery for a few amazing stories. The tour will be followed by a prayer service and light refreshments at Mount Saint Vincent Convent. Please join us in prayer and celebration on our beautiful campus.
