Welcome to the last installment from their secretary, Miss Rahab Njihu.
DAY 4 Tuesday, 24/02/15
See gallery below
It is now another blessed Tuesday here at De Paul Centre as we marked the end of the four days Seminar and we thank God for reaching us this far. At 7:00 a.m. the participants went for Morning Prayers and Mass and then had breakfast as they interacted with their new friends. At 9:00 a.m. the participants assembled back in the hall and started the session with a wonderful song and then prayed. Mr. John Bosco, out Master of Ceremony who has been doing a good job so far, welcomed Fr. Maloney who told the participants to discuss in groups on Ethical Dimensions of Corruption. After the groups had discussed, Fr. Maloney then gave his presentation on Corruption.
At 10:55 a.m. the participants went for tea break and at 11:15 a.m., the participants gathered back in the hall and Fr. Agostino informed them that they needed to fill in the Evaluation Form since their feedback would be very helpful to the team as it gives further workshops. Each group was given an opportunity to give their comments as per the question.
Then the most anticipated moment came; it was time to show our appreciation to the speakers. Mr. Evans, the Head Chef at De Paul had done a very good job in arranging the meals for us, had baked a cake with the help of the other chefs. The speakers (Fr. Maloney, Fr. Agostino and Sr. Marge) cut the cake in all smiles plus the participants looked on very cheerful. As they ate the cake, Mr. John Bosco called Fr. Gary who was to present the Vote of Thanks. He did a wonderful job in thanking all the people who had made the Workshop a success!
The workshop came to an end with a word of prayer led by Fr. Bertand. The air was full of joy as the participants said their exchanged contacts with new friends, seeking autographs, showing their appreciation to others and finally saying the sad goodbye!
We thank God for making all this possible!!
