Dinners for Depaul – Celebrate World Homeless Day October 10 (or any other day!)
“Mix the useful with the agreeable!” When I was being formed in the Congregation of the Mission over 50 years ago I first heard these words of Vincent. I thought of them when I read of Depaul International’s latest practical venture. It seems even the Duchess of Norfolk likes the idea.
Hold a supper party for your friends on 10thOctober to help promote World Homeless Day and support Depaul International, a UK based charity, supporting homeless and marginalised people in the UK and around the world.
It could not be easier, just ask for donations in return for the meal, and the money you raise will help transform the lives of those who are overlooked and living on the edge of society. Read Mel’s story to see how your donation can help.
As Patron of Depaul International, Her Grace, The Duchess of Norfolk says ” I am thrilled to support Dinners for Depaul. It is a great initiative”
