From the official Facebook page for the Vincentian Family Collaboration Action Program (VFCAP).
“St. Vincent brought together as many people as he could, rich and poor, humble and powerful, and used every means to inspire in them a sensitivity to the poor, who are the privileged image of Christ.” (Constitutions of the Congregation of the Missions, Introduction, p.19)
As Vincent de Paul was a master in getting diverse groups of people to work together, our goal is to facilitate and strengthen the process of collaboration among the branches of the Vincentian Family in the service of the poor. Desired outcomes are to heighten the awareness among us of the urgent need to collaborate as well as to provide the necessary skills to do so more effectively in our work.
