Gaudium Evangelii - Vincentian Challenge
After reading Pope Francis’ exhortation I can appreciate why someone is reported to have said that it is best read on one’s knees.
I have also found so many themes that Vincent, Louise, Frederic, Elizabeth and all our holy ones lived by.
I was going to try to make these connections. Then I thought how interesting and valuable it would be to start a project – Vincentian charism and Guadium Evangelii.
Although I am still thinking about how to shape that project I thought I would ask all of you to share your thoughts on how Pope Francis is challenging the followers of Vincent, Louise, Fredric, Elizabeth, etc.
“No one should think that this invitation is not meant for him or her, since “no one is excluded from the joy brought by the Lord”.[1] ”

Where to begin??? I will begin by committing myself to pray a paragraph or two each day in Advent. “I wish to encourage the Christian faithful to embark upon a new chapter of evangelization marked by this joy” The Pope’s namesake is reported to have said spread the gospel… use word if you must! This got me thinking about the “words” of my actions.2 Comments
