Collette Baran, SCN, who lives at St. Louise Convent in Pittsburgh, Pa., taught the fifth and sixth grades at St. Joseph’s grade school in Crestline, Ohio, from 1953-1955. During that time, she taught Jim and Jerry Harbough, uncles of the coaches who will be competing this Sunday with opposing teams in the Super Bowl. Brothers, John Harbough, coach of the Baltimore Ravens, and Jim Harbough, coach of the San Francisco 49ers, will be vying for the Super Bowl championship. During her interview with Luke Boiarski, SCN, Sister Collette says she wants to remain neutral as to who wins the game so she would not “cause any hard feelings in the [Harbough] family.” Sisters of Charity of Nazareth site
