CM President in education line of fire

“As president of the largest association of Catholic schools in the country (Philippines), Fr. Gregorio Bañaga, C.M., who is also President of Adamson University,   often finds himself in the line of fire — even when he is not personally involved in it. It’s because whenever controversial issues involving Catholic schools come up, people, the media especially,  always go to the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippnes (CEAP) and expect to get the 1,345-member schools’ collective stand on certain issues. Many also expect the CEAP to take action and penalize schools and their officials and teachers perceived to have committed mistakes or gone against Church beliefs or national laws.
