St Stanislaus’ College (Bathurst NSW)  opened the College’s new Trade Training Centre on September 9. For the Vincentian Family this has added interest as a project that provides training that will keep people out of poverty. Fr Greg Cooney CM, Provincial of the Australian Province blessed the facility.  Stannies was one of the first independent schools to be successful in receiving a Trade Training Centre grant and the $1,670,677 utilised to build and equip a first class trades training centre with specialist workshops for construction, automotive and metals, and engineering.  More details are available in the Stannies Newsletter of September 13, 2011.   (Scroll down to “Opening of our Trade Training Centre”)
