According to the Australian CM site a further $10m has been given to the St Vincent de Paul Society to disburse in the hopes that Victims will get relief faster. Victims are still waiting to receive more than $55 million in disaster relief payments donated since Queensland’s summer of floods cyclones.   The Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal, criticised for the slow pace with which it has distributed money, has raised $274.1m since December, and paid $208.4m to 40,000 people so far.
