Can you share a story about a veteran in your life?

The Phoenix VIncent de Paul Society asks that question on this Memorial Day weekend in the US. You can share your stories either on their (SVdP2U) site or this site (use the  famvin“Comment” button) regardless of where this person served or in what conflict. Many gave their all, many are still giving in rehabilitation centers or carrying physical or emotional scars. They all deserve our mindfulness.
