very moving–thank you to whoever put this one together. Whose song is it? According to the videoclip description, author of the song is Hillary Weeks. Photos are taken from deviant.com and show various area of Manila. THis video was produced by a Confrere of CM Province of Philippines Everytime I see such a video, I wonder: how far away are those people from me? Where are they? And then, concerning the writings of Mother Seton, that ‘the cross carries us’, which I find very powerful, I think: suffering is good for us. It keeps us in tune with reality. Plus, everytime I hear a statement on TV, such as, “Oh did she (or he)suffer much before such a one died?”, I think: ‘what is wrong with suffering? It makes you stronger, better, and more like Jesus.’3 Comments
