Gardening, homelessness and the Vincent de Paul Society?

The Desertnews writes… “Being without a home doesn’t necessarily mean living without a garden, as some of Utah’s homeless are developing their green thumbs in a space between the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall and Weigand Homeless Day Center. “It’s important because it gives our clients an opportunity to start and end something in a short period of time,” said Barbara Wolfe, who spearheaded the project. “They can see the results of what they do.”… “It gives them the chance to feel normal,” Wolfe said.
