Vincentian using Facebook in high plains of Bolivia

Fr. Adan Rooney, CM is managing to run his Vincentian Bolivian Altiplano Mission Facebook page from Mocomoco high in the Bolivian mountains. He has managed to rig a satellite connection so that he does not have to wait until gets back to a larger population center. See also his blog Voces Vicentinos

Seriously speaking….blogging and FB from here (Mocomoco) is by cellular connection/mobile phone (my trusty Nokia E61i). The satellite connection is for more remote areas to conduct catechist and lay formation programs. It’s a little too expensive for FB!1 Comment
