Daughter of Charity singled out for courage and leadership

In an editorial the National Catholic Reporter explains why it decided to take the unusual move of naming a person of the year. Sr Carol Keehan DC , as President and CEO of the Catholic Health Association in the United States, led her organization to endorse legislation on Health Care that put health care coverage within the reach of an additional 32 million Americans.

    Makes me proud to be a Daughter of Charity. I have admired Sister Carol for sometime now and am very happy she is being recgonized for all she has done for the poor.
