Church casualties in the Polish air crash

Three prominent religious died in the crash that killed the President of Poland and much of the top ranks of Poland’s military and political leadership. Archbishop Miron Chodakowski, Orthodox Ordinary of the Polish Army, Tadeusz P?oski, bishop of the Military Ordinariate of the Polish Army and Ryszard Rumianek, Rector of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszy?ski University

    Masses in the intentions of all those died in the crash were celebrated today in St. John’s Cathedral in Warsaw and Wawel Cathedral in Krakow.
    There was a Mass celebrated in the Vincentian Basilica of Holy Cross in Warsaw in the evening.

    On Sunday special Masses dedicated to victims of the crash and Poland will be celebrated among others at some Vincentian churches:
    11:30 AM (EST) – St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY (in Polish)
    4:00 PM (CEST) – St. Vincent Church, Helsingor, Denmark (in Polish)

    On Monday special Mass will be dedicated to late President of Poland and his wife in the Vincentian seminary church in Krakow at 7:00 PM (CEST).
