Sr. Evelyne Franc, Mother General of the Daughters of Charity, accepts the Seton Bincentennial Medal at the inaugural ceremonies for celebrating the 200th anniversary of Mother Seton’s arrival in Emmitsburg. (Unfortunately the sound could not be improved.)
WOW! MHM visits USA for Mother Seton Bicentennial! Ok. I really AM impressed with that. And she has a great face and smile, too. LONG, LONG AGO, I REMEMBER…MHM Chiron visiting the Marillac, and we had to line the roadway, and wave at her with white handkerchiefs, which, when I was 20, made no sense to me. A smiling happy present day MHM visiting does make sense to me. Go Vincentian! (I’ve decided to make that my ‘warcry’…go vincentian…)gh1 Comment
