The "Charity Chair"
“The Charity Chair.” This chair is made of recycled/recyclable materials and its Escher-like shape is inspired by the cornets worn by the Daughters of Charity order (i.e. a nun’s hat). This chair is a finalist in a competition for creating sustainable chairs for the annual “One Good Chair: Fit Right Here” Design Competition that will be held during the inaugural September Las Vegas Market.
Now this is awesome! I hope it has bend, flex and bounce to it, just like the old cornettes did…it would be so fit a tribute! Alma/gh Will these enable one to fly?2 Comments
