Hungarian Daughters of Charity sheltering Jews from Nazi persecution

hungriandcjpegZsuzsa and Veronika Siklos were two of over 100 children who escaped the Nazi concentration camps during the Second World War by hiding out in a Hungarian convent of the Daughters of Charity that came to be known as Guardian Angel House. Kathy Clark has written a novel, “Guardian Angel House” based on her mother’s (Veronika’s) experiences hiding in the convent.
