It’s almost 19 years since I was received by Daughters of Charity in Haifa. All the time I keep their hospitality in front of my eyes. It was very motivating and encouraging to see Sisters working among handicapped children and elderly always with smile on their faces. And was surprising that the premises, in downtown Haifa (in German district), close to Catholic church and port, dated from Queen Victoria and Turkish occupation served the most in need. Haifa itself is unique place where Jews, Arabs, Druze and Christians can live and work peacefully.1 Comment
