The news is out – we have a new Provincial-Elect, even before we have the new province! Our congratulations and prayers go out to Fr. Perry Henry for whom we all know this news is a life-altering event, and our thanks to Perry for saying yes!

Over the last few months we confreres talked among ourselves proposing some excellent candidates for Visitor of the new province; clearly the future Western Province is blessed to have such talent and so many choices. But the decision is now made and we (particularly of the South who know Perry best) should feel both hopeful and proud. Happily, Perry has enjoyed a fascinating and upbeat priesthood in challenging apostolic settings.
