International Leaders of the Miraculous Medal meet in Paris

The Spanish famvin site reports on a metting of the International Council of the Association of the Miraculous Medal in Paris January 3-5

The Spanish site of the From January 3 to 5, with the joy of the Jubilee Year the International Council of the AMM held a meeting in Paris. The session, called up by Rev. Gregory Gay CM, Superior General and Director General of the Association, started with the Eucharist celebrated in one of the chapels at 140 Rue du Bac, close to the place where Our Lady appeared in 1830.

Present was Fr. Enrique Rivas CM, the new Sub-Director of AMM who shared the gifts of Three Kings, which are present among all people in these days and International Council could not be an exception.

Basic objectives of the meeting were, first, revision of the International Statutes and second, preparation of International Meeting of AMM to be held in Paris in November 16 – 20. Father Enrique Rivas prepared a document comparing and analyzing National Statutes of those countries where they already have been approved. The International Meeting in Paris will complete celebrations of Jubilee Year of 100th anniversary of Papal approbation of the Society worldwide.

Definitely, by the advocation of Miraculous Medal we receive abundant blessings from Our Mother, Virgin Mary and this is why Association of Miraculous Medal brings together so many faithful Catholics worshiping around the world.

We hope this meeting will help the Association to grow in number and strengthen its of Marian and Vincentian spirit to the Church. (based on Famvin.org Español report)
