I’ve been reading more and more about what is being termed “fuel poverty” affecting people both in the United States and abroad. And it is not just a problem for people with old gas guzzler cars. Both the increased cost of fuel for getting to work (even with more fuel efficient vehicles) and the increase in food prices resulting from increased fuel costs is pushing many who were on the margin into poverty.
