I applaud the efforts to educate parents about state-sponsored health insurance programs for children. Lamentably, however, SCHIP programs face funding shortfalls in a number of states and efforts to expand SCHIP funding have failed. Despite the existence of programs like Arizona’s KidsCare, the number of uninsured children in this country continues to rise.1 Comment
