Vincentian Partnership Reports on Low-Income Families in Ireland

The Vincentian Partnership’s most recent study of low-income households in Ireland found that many were better off in 2007 than 2006, but that they still face weekly financial shortfalls. The Vincentian Partnership, whose members represent the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the Vincentian Congregation, the Daughters of Charity and the Sisters of the Holy Spirit, was established in 1996 to work to change ‘‘the social and economic structures which cause poverty and injustice in Ireland’’.
