DC volunteer reflects on work lepers in Ethiopia

A young woman joined the Vincentian Lay Missionaries for service Jimma, Ethiopia. Her month of service included teaching English, as she expected. But “the Daughters of Charity main mission was providing a better life for families living in two leper colonies.” Rather than simply visiting, she would be spending all her time there.
