Inviting Young Adults To A Unique Mission Experience In Houston Texas!

The Vincentian Summer Mission is an invitation to spend time seeing what Christ sees and actually working to meet the needs of the poor while finding ways to end the cycle of poverty within our city; within our own lives. It is an invitation to experience simplicity and service as a lifestyle, a source of life just like the air we breathe!

While on mission in Houston Texas, you will live in our St. Vincent de Paul Village with other Vincentians on mission as well. You will spend the day at our different ministry locations– working at our food pantries, experiencing the home visits, rebuilding furniture, helping with the summer program for the children in the Village, distributing food and helping at the central office. Your presence and time is your answer to the many souls that are calling your name with outstretched arms.
