First Sisters of Charity (Nazareth) Pronounce Vows Feb. 2, 1812

In February 1816 the first Sisters of Charity of Nazareth pronounced vows. Today there are approximately 600 vowed members throughout the world, plus thousands of lay persons assisting in our mission. SCN Family members work for justice for the oppressed, especially the economically poor and women, and care for the earth.
