Operation Helping Hands

Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans is seeking volunteer
groups, 10-15 people, to help the elderly, disabled and those without
financial means to reoccupy their homes. We are in particular need of volunteer groups in February and April, after college groups return from their winter and spring breaks.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old; possess a “pitch-in” attitude and “good neighbor” spirit; willing to travel to the area at their own expense for a week or long weekend; simple meals and basic
accommodations provided.

Please note this is a group activity; at this time we do not have the
staff capacity to match individuals, couples or families to other
groups.
