Nearly a ton of food is distributed daily, five days a week, from the Williamson Street address, the busiest food pantry in Dane County, Wisconsin
St. Vincent’s runs five thrift stores and transitional housing, in addition to the services provided now on Williamson Street. The agency, which served 18,000 families annually, has been looking for space for the past year. Middlecamp said the site had to be able to accommodate a 10,000- to 15,000-square-foot building with at least 30 parking spaces. The Fish Hatchery site allows room to expand, he said.
