Analyzing the Reasons for the Rich-Poor Divide

SYDNEY, June 9, 2004 (smh.com.au): The gap between high and low incomes is growing – but not for the reasons you’d think, writes Ross Gittins in The Sydney Morning Herald According to a recent Roy Morgan poll, 88 per cent of people believe the gap between rich and poor is growing. They’re right, it is. But my guess is that 88 per cent of people have the wrong reason for believing the gap is growing.
