Poverty in Australia

SYDNEY, April 18, 2004 (catholicweekly.com.au): Next Sunday’s The Catholic Weekly (Sydney) features two articles on poverty in Australia. Church Groups Unite in Call for Poverty Inquiry  focuses on Church and welfare groups  continuing to press the Federal Government and Opposition to fight poverty in the wake of inaction over a Senate inquiry into the issue.  The second article entitled Lisa’s struggle to make ends meet describes some of the difficulties of a low income earner.
