Jackson treats ‘incredible’ Vincentian volunteers as celebrities

For nearly 21 years, Anthony Jackson has worked for St. Vincent de Paul — in the warehouse, in one of the charity’s storefronts — but no job has given him as much satisfaction as working with the volunteers in Emergency Services….. These people are incredible,” said Jackson. “I always tell them that they are the best volunteers in America, because that’s what they are.”

“They don’t have to be here,” said Jackson. “It’s because of the longing to help and their Christian ethic that they’re here.”
