Mantuhac, a Filipina, and one of the four new members of the JMV International Secretariat introduces herself and draws attention to the January Newsletter filled with reports of Vincentian youth around the world and an inspiring column by Sr. Asun Garcia, D.C. “With Christ be Life in the Lives of Others”The January News letter and the topic chosen by various national couincils shows how alive these youth are.

Cameroon theme for 2004 is: “The Role and Responsibility of the Young Christians in the Church and in Society.”

Central African Republic theme for this year is: “Young people, let us fight together against spiritual and intellectual poverty.”

Algeria reflect on “Are the sects a reality for our youth today?”

Dear Friends in the Vincentian Marian Youth and in the Vincentian Family,

Greetings of peace!

May I introduce myself to you? I am Pamela B. Mantuhac, a Filipina, and one of the four new members of the JMV International Secretariat. My responsibility is to be the contact person of the English-speaking countries. Thus, if you may, I shall be communicating with you from now on. Ana Maria Escaˆo, who continues to be the JMV International Councilor for the English-speaking countries, will be kept informed of your ãgoings-onä as I shall send her monthly reports.

Thank you very much! May we work hand in hand to spread God’s word through our Association. Looking forward to being of service to you for His greater glory and for the love of our Blessed Mother.
