TIm Williams reports on the controversy in Australia about whether non-Catholics can hold office in the SVDPSYDNEY, February 5, 2004 (cathnews.com): CathNews reports today (Thursday Feb 5) that Brisbane’s Archbishop John Bathersby has moved to assure non-Catholic St Vincent de Paul volunteers that there is no requirement for them to convert to the Catholic faith in order for them to remain in the organisation.
