The meeting has as its purpose “sharing experiences that are already taking place” and to “concretize the ways in which MISEVI can be founded and spread in other countries.”The Final Document of the First General Assembly of MISEVI (2001) mentions among its principal challenges: “to be creative and propagate the spirit of MISEVI” and “to come up with the necessary responses so that, in International harmony, we will open doors to new realities and facilitate the incorporation of new members.”

“So, in order to carry out this challenge, the Superior General wrote to the Visitors and Visitatrixes on 31 March to announce a meeting of representatives of MISEVI which will be held in Mexico from 30 July to 3 August 2003 for “sharing experiences that are already taking place” and to “concretize the ways in which MISEVI can be founded and spread in other countries.”

It is hoped that confreres, Daughters of Charity and laypersons who are thinking of founding this Association will take part in this meeting. The organization of this meeting is in the hands of Eva Villar (President of MISEVI), Felipe Nieto (member of the International Coordinating Team) and Benjamín Romo (Delegate of the Superior General for the Vincentian Family).
