IX Meeting of the Heads of the International Vincentian Family

From 7-9 February the international heads of the “principal” branches of the Vincentian Family will meet in Rome at the General Curia of the C.M. Present wil be:

1. Anne Sturm, new President of the International Association of Charities (AIC);
2. Anna Rovetta, Delegate of AIC for the Vincentian Family (FV);
3. Pilar Gordillo, Delegate of AIC for the FV;
4. Robert Maloney, C.M., Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission (CM);
5. Sister Therezinha Remonatto, Assistant General of the Company of the Daughters of Charity (DC);
6. Joseph Mueller, Vice-President General of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP);
7. Roberto Forti, Delegate of the SSVP for the FV;
8. Yvon Laroche, Superior General of the Religious of St. Vincent de Paul (RSVP);
9. Gladys Abi-Saïd, President of the Vincentian Marian Youth (JMV);
10. Edurne Urdampilleta, member of the International Council of JMV;
11. Charles Shelby, International Coordinator of the Association of the Miraculous Medal (AMM);
12. Eva Villar, President of the Lay Vincentian Missionaries (MISEVI);
13. Felipe Nieto, C.M., Member of the International Team of MISEVI;
14. Benjamín Romo, C.M., Delegate for the FV.

Among the activities proposed for this 9th meeting, were the following:

* Share the projects accomplished in 2002 in the framework of the Campaign Against Hunger and what is to be accomplished;

* Analyze the acceptance given to the common prayer of the Vincentian Family;

* Evaluate the common celebration of the Feast of St. Vincent;

* Analyze the possibility of putting in place new common projects;

* “Give a look” at the Web Site of the Vincentian Family: www.famvin.org
