The three provinces of the Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile and Peru) held, in communion with the Vincentian Family, an interprovincial mission from 29 July to 11 August.Interprovincial Mission.

The places chosen for this pastoral activity were the communities of: La Villa, Casalla and San Miguel (St. Clement Paris, Pisco, Peru). The theme of the mission was: “We are children of God in Jesus Christ.” The Visitor of Peru presided at the Eucharist for the opening of the mission. The missionaries were organized into eight groups in order to reach eight centers. In each one of these there was present a layperson, a seminarian, a Daughter of Charity and a confrere. Among the activities of the mission was the enthroning of the bible, the Way of the Cross and a Marian celebration. There was massive participation of the faithful. A day for the youth and a meeting with couples complemented the activities of the mission. On 11 August, the diocesan bishop presided at the closing Eucharist, after which followed a luncheon in the St. Louise de Marillac School of the Daughters of Charity.
