Vincentians in the Syro-Malabar Rite

Vincentian Congregation is a Religious community of the Pontifical Right belonging to the Syro-Malabar Archiepiscopal Church in the Catholic fold. Fr. Varkey Kattarath founded this community in 1904 at Thottakom in the State of Kerala, India. It consists of priests and lay brothers who are primarily committed to the cause of evangelization people especially the poor. This ministry is carried out primarily by the preaching of the Word of God through Popular Missions, Bible Conventions, Residential Retreat Programmes in different Retreat Centres and through other pastoral, educational and charitable activities.
